An 18-year-old girl was today set on fire by her four uncles allegedly over a land dispute in Kotwali area here, police said.
Vaishali Gupta was set on fire by her uncles Anil, Ramesh, Keshav and Praveen allegedly over land dispute in Nai Bazar locality here this afternoon, Station House Officer Ajay Srivastava said.
The victim who has sustained 50 per cent burn injuries has been referred to a hospital in Varanasi for treatment, he said.
An FIR has been lodged and Anil and Praveen have been arrested, the SHO said, adding hunt is on to nab the other accused.
