Glass panel falls at Chennai airport; none injured

In continuing series of such incidents, a portion of a glass panel fell from the ceiling at the international departure area of Chennai airport.

No one was injured in the incident, which occurred near Gate No. 1 this afternoon, airport officials said.

Today's mishap is the latest in a series of more than 50 incidents of collapse of glass panels, granite slabs and false ceiling at the new domestic and international terminals that were inaugurated in January 2013.
