Three persons decamped with gold ornaments weighing 33 sovereigns and 12 kg of silver from a jewellery store owner's house at Attur, 60 km from here, after threatening the occupants at knife-point, police today said.
The gang broke into the house last night, tied the jeweller and his wife at knife-point and asked their 12-year-old daughter to identify the places where the gold and silver articles were kept, police said.
After removing the valuables, they fled.
