Gold ornaments stolen

other valuables were stolen from the Sri Dattatreya Sai Ashram complex at Kapilas Road, about 15 km from here, police said here today.

The items stolen yesterday included a golden necklace, silver footwear and utensils of the presiding deity, DSP, crime branch, Ajay Pratap Swain said.

Fingerprint experts, a scientific team and sniffer dogs were brought in to investigate the theft.
