Gold, Rs 8 lakh found burgled from house
Four hundred grams of gold and Rs eight lakh were today burgled from a house at Kumbakonam, police said.
The family had gone to Coimbatore ten days ago and the house maid found the front door of the house broken open when she came for cleaning the premises this morning.
Police said the money and gold jewellery were found missing from the locker.
