The officers of Customs at Mangalore International Airport have seized 204 grams of gold, valued around Rs.5.50 lakh from a passenger from Dubai.
The gold was concealed in the form of a measuring tape, buckles of a rexine travel bag, buckles of sandals, handles of hair brush and pen refill kept in a travel bag, a senior Customs official said.
The passenger from Kasaragod District in Kerala arrived at the airport yesterday and further probe was on, Pravin Vinod, Assistant Commissioner of Customs, said.
