Ahead of the indefinite nationwide strike called by truckers from October 1, lorry operators in the district have stopped booking of cargo from today.
The booking of goods like oil, turmeric, textile and other materials were stopped in the district to other stations.
Lorry operators had already stopped booking of goods to Mumbai, Kolkatta ad Delhi from Monday night.
