Gram dal,sugar prices up

Prices of gram dal and sugar increased while sooji decreased rest all commoditiees ruling steady in the wholesale foodgrains market here today.

Gram dal was up by Rs.100 per quintal to Rs.6,300 from its yesterday's closing rate of Rs.6,200.

Sugar price increased by marginal Rs.50 per quintal to Rs.3,700 from Rs.3,650.

Sooji(90 kgs) was down by Rs.200 to Rs.3,000 from Rs.3,200.

Thoor dal,urad dal,moong dal,wheat and maida(90 kg) prices ruled steady.

Following are the wholesale rates of various agri-commodities (rates in rupees per quintal, unless stated otherwise):Thoor Dal Rs 13,000, Urad Dal Rs 13,600, Moong Dal Rs 9,200, Gram Dal Rs 6,300, Sugar Rs 3,700, Wheat Rs 2,600, Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,500 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 3,000.
