Grandfather, father of a boy arrested for killing friend

The grandfather and father of a student were arrested in West Bengal's Burdwan district today in connection with the death of a boy, who had been fatally injured after being beaten with a cricket wicket.
Burdwan superintendent of police Syed Mohammed Hussain Mirza said Biswanath Gupta (74) and his son-in-law Sanjiv Konar were arrested from Chakondi village, where they went into hiding since the death of the boy Sourav Majilla on April 17.
Sourav (14), a standard nine student of a school at Memari area, had a fight with a friend during a game of cricket on April 17. He was later called to his friend's house, where he was fatally hit with a cricket wicket by his grandfather and mother.
