Greater Kashmir Invitational Golf tournament starts in Jammu

The Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy, Dr Farooq Abdullah today teed off at the 8th Greater Kashmir Invitational Golf Tournament at Sidhra Golf Course Jammu.

The two-day event is a major golf tournament to be held at the Sidhra Golf Course and around 80 high-end golfers from Srinagar, Jammu and Chandigarh are seen in action.

The objective of the tournament is to promote golfing tourism in the State by showcasing the world-class golf courses across Jammu and Kashmir.

Greater Kashmir has been holding the tournament for the last 10 years.
