Groundnut oil prices continued its uptrend to strengthened further in an otherwise listless Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market due to persistent demand from stockists and retailers amid lower arrivals from producing regions.
Meanwhile, refined palmolein, castorseed bold, castor oil commercial and linseedoil prices held stable in the absence of any major buying activity.
In the edible segment, groundnut oil surged by Rs 10 per 10kg to Rs 1,020 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 1,010. However, refined palmolein closed unchanged at Rs 525 per 10kg.
Moving to non-edible segment, Castorseeds bold, castoroil commercial and linseedoil all ended unaltered at Rs 4,350 per 100kg and Rs 900 per 10kg and Rs 770 per 10kg, respectively.
