Groundnut oil recovered moderately at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market on renewed demand from stockists and retailers.
While, refined palmolein fell further on lack of retail buying support.
Castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial advanced further on sustained demand from shippers and soap industries.
Linseed oil maintained a steady trend in the absence of any large-scale buying.
In the edible-segment, groundnut oil gained Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 745 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 740.
However, refined palmolein declined Rs 4 per 10 kg to Rs 556 from Rs 560 previously.
Moving to non-edible segment, castorseeds bold climbed by Rs 15 per 100 kg to Rs 3,940 as against Rs 3,925 last weekend, and castoroil commercial moved up by Rs 3 per 10 kg to Rs 818 from Rs 815. Linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 740 per 10 kg.
