Guar gum prices slipped by Rs 41 to Rs 7,610 per five quintal in futures trade on Tuesday as investors cut their bets following weak trend at the physical markets.
Marketmen said subdued demand on persistent arrivals from growing belts mainly put pressure on guar gum prices here.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for November declined by Rs 41, or 0.54 per cent, to Rs 7,610 per five quintal with an open interest of 34,725 lots.
Contracts for December delivery eased by Rs 44, or 0.57 per cent, to Rs 7,720 per five quintal with an open interest of 30,670 lots.
