Gujarat CM calls on RSS chief Bhagwat

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat met Gujarat Chief Minister Anandi Patel during his three-day tour of the state.

"During his three day-long stay here, he also met Chief Minister Anandi Patel at the RSS office in Maninagar area here yesterday. It was a courtesy call," RSS spokesperson Pradeep Jain said.

He termed Bhagwat's tour as routine, for inspecting the organisation's activities.

Gujarat government has not yet issued any statement over CM's meeting with Bhagwat.

It was Patel's first meeting with the RSS chief after she took over as the Chief Minister.
