Gunmen kill 10 in north Mexico beer hall: official

Gunmen stormed a beer hall in northern Mexico, killing 10 people in broad daylight in a suburb of the industrial city of Monterrey, authorities said.
Several armed men arrived in two vehicles before attacking people inside the bar in the municipality of Garcia at around 3:00 pm (local time) yesterday, an official in the state prosecutor's office said.
The assailants stripped seven bodies naked and left with USD 650) in cash, the official said on condition of anonymity.

"Seven died at the scene of the attack and three more (succumbed to their wounds) in a hospital," said Nuevo Leon state security spokesman Jorge Domene.
Local police and soldiers rushed to the scene of the attack, which was cordoned off.
