Dull conditions persisted at the wholesale gur (jaggery) market in the national capital on Tuesday with prices moving in a tight range on scattered deals and ended at their previous levels.

Meanwhile, gur chakku in Muzaffarnagar and gur pedi in Muradnagar markets lost some grounds due to muted demand.

Marketmen said fresh supplies from manufacturing belts amid sluggish demand from stockists and retailers, chiefly pulled down gur chakku and pedi prices in Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar markets.
