Gur prices looked down by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale gur (jaggery) market in the national capital today following persistent supplies amid limited offtake.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also saw a weak trend with prices falling by up to Rs 100 per quintal.
Marketmen said beginning of gur production in manufacturing belts created adequate stocks in the markets, led to fall in prices.

In Delhi, gur Pedi prices slipped by Rs 100 to end at Rs 3,700-3,800 per quintal.
At Muzaffarnagar, gur Chakku prices enquired lower by Rs 50 to Rs 3,200-3,350 per quintal.
At Muradnagar, gur dhayya lost Rs 100 at Rs 3,400-3,450 while pedi traded lower by Rs 50 at Rs 3,250-3,350 per quintal.

Gur chakku Rs 3,700-3,800, pedi Rs 3,700-3,800, dhayya Rs 4,000-4,100 and shakkar Rs 4,100-4,200.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 3,250-3,300, chakku Rs 3,200-3,350, khurpa Rs 2,925-2,950 and Ladoo Rs 3,000-3,050.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 3,250-3,350 and dhayya Rs 3,400-3,450.
