Guv urges VCs to take steps for women's safety in varsities

Governor ESL Narasimhan today directed vice-chancellors to take concrete measures to ensure that no untoward incidents take place against women in universities and colleges in the state.

During a meeting with senior officials and VCs on the performance of universities in Telangana, he also suggested introduction of new courses that are useful to the students, a state government release said.
