Guwahati, Ahmedabad freights dip on excess position of trucks

Freight rates for nine-tonne pay load section for Ahmedabad and Guwahati fell Rs 1,000 in local truck transport market today following excess position of trucks against limited cargo movements.

Transporters said easy availability of trucks against restricted cargo movements, led to the fall in rates for select destinations.

Delhi to Ahmedabad and Guwahati freight rates moved down by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 21,000 and Rs 53,000.
