Country singer Gwen Stefani says the reason behind her no-make up selfie, that made fans go gaga, was boyfriend Balke Shelton.
The 46-year-old "Misery" singer said she was trying to take a cute picture to send to Shelton and shared the photo she liked the most, reported People magazine.
"I was just like laying there, I just got in bed and I was like, 'Maybe I'll send a picture to Blake. You just start doing like fooling around with it. I had actually a new camera on my phone and I just took that picture.
"I probably took about 10 and that one looked cute and I was like 'I'll just post it,' " Stefani said.
The singer, who is known for rocking bold lip colors and daring hair styles, shared the bare-faced snap on Thursday with her 4 million Instagram followers.
