The 12th edition of the three-day National Inter-District Athletics meet will be held from April 25 this year at Haridwar.
Satisfied with the performance of the athletes in the recently concluded 11th edition at Ranchi, the AFI's Executive Director, A K Kesri, told reporters that the Haridwar edition would also attract participation of many districts.
The year marked both the 11th and 12th editions of the meet because the 11th edition was to be held in October last year, but was postponed to this month.

Stating that the federation's endeavour was to raise players from all the districts in the future meets, he said around 10,000 players could take part when 600 districts in the country join the meet in future.
Kesri said he was satisfied with the organisation of the meet concluded here recently and thanked the state government for extending help and cooperation in successfully organising it.
"The forthcoming National Inter-Zonal Athletics Championship has been allotted to Ranchi," he added.
