The Haryana government has enhanced the monthly remuneration of teachers engaged on guest faculty basis across the state.
A spokesman of Education Department today said that Lecturers or Post Graduate Teachers would get Rs 26,000 per month instead of Rs 23,500 per month.
Masters or Trained Graduate Teachers and Language Teachers (Hindi, Punjabi or Sanskrit) would get Rs 21,000 per month instead of Rs 19,000, he added.
Meanwhile, Junior Basic Training (JBT) teachers or Primary Teachers (PRTs) and Drawing Teachers would be paid Rs 19,000 per month instead of Rs 17,500 per month, he said.
The hike in monthly remuneration would be applicable with effect from July 1, this year, he said.
