Buoyed by the success of its online teachers transfer policy, the Haryana government today decided to extend the initiative to eight more departments having 500 and more state cadre posts.

These departments will upload a draft of the online transfer policy for their respective employees on the websites by next week, an official release said here.

Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar will launch the online transfer policy for these departments on April 15, it said.

A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting of administrative secretaries and heads of these departments, under the chairmanship of the chief minister here today.

Khattar directed the additional chief secretaries and principal secretaries of the departments with 500 and more state cadre posts to invite suggestions from employees, MLAs, and MPs on the draft of the online transfer policy.

He directed the officers to send copies of the policy to all 90 MLAs, 10 MPs and five members of the Rajya Sabha.

While transferring an employee, preference would be given according to the marks obtained by him in the Annual Confidential Report, the release added.

Under the online transfer policy, a teacher is invited to mark their choice for school and place of posting through the Education Departments Management Information System portal.
