Haryana Sports minister Anil Vij is set to leave today for a 10-day tour to Rio de Janeiro in Brazil "to boost the morale of the players from the state participating in the ongoing Olympics".
Vij said he had received a number of messages from the players from Haryana participating in Rio, in which they requested him to come to Rio.
The minister also said even though he was not feeling well, he decided to go to Rio de Janeiro to boost the morale of the players from the state.
