Himachal Pradesh High Court today directed the state Chief Secretary to file an affidavit and "place on record the present posting of tainted officers".
The orders regarding officers of doubtful integrity were passed by a Division Bench comprising Chief Justice A M Khanwilkar and Justice Kuldeep Singh while hearing a petition of Sher Singh, former Assistant Drug Controller, booked in a case under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
"We direct the Chief Secretary to an file affidavit and place on record, disclosing the present posting of concerned officers," the bench said.
The bench asked the Chief Secretary to file the affidavit by October 1 and said the matter would be further taken up on October 3.
