The Jammu and Kashmir High Court today extended its ad interim order banning construction work in violation of guidelines issued by the Union Ministry of Defence around two more sprawling military stations here.
The order was passed by Justice Janak Raj Kotwal in two separate petitions filed by Union of India through ADM commandants of Satwari and Miran Sahib military stations.
After hearing Senior Panel Counsel Advocate Danish Butt in length, Justice Kotwal issued notice to Home Secretary and others and directed that subject to objections from other side and till the next date of hearing, the order dated May 18, 2018, with regard to Sunjwan garrison would apply in the case of the Satwari and Miran Sahib Military Station as well.
