The Delhi High Court today reserved its order on a PIL seeking directions to various authorities to take action for curbing illegal constructions on lands belonging to 'Gaon Sabha' and the government in the national capital.
"What further directions you need in this case? The Supreme Court has already issued the directions. Anyway, we will pass the order," a bench, comprising Chief Justice G Rohini and Justice R S Endlaw, said.
Earlier, a single judge had referred the plea, filed by All India Panchayat Parishad, to a larger bench saying the reliefs prayed for were general in nature.

The PIL has sought a direction for a survey and identification of government and gram sabha lands in various villages, including Libaspur and Badli, in and around Delhi.
It alleged a largescale "hurried land-grabbing" was on and miscreants have been building illegal structures on such lands.
The NGO, through its senior lawyer Shyamlha Pappu, has also said that the 2011 apex court judgment should be strictly adhered to.
"The Supreme Court had in its order on January 28, 2011 issued directions to state governments of the country to prepare schemes for eviction of illegal/unauthorized occupants of Gram Sabha lands and directed that they must be restored for common use of villagers," the petition said.
