Head constable, son booked for forging documents

A head constable and his son were booked here for getting scholarship by allegedly providing false details of family income, police said today.

Ratiram's son Arun Kumar was sanctioned a scholarship for low income families when the head constable showed himself as a retired employee, they said.

Following a complaint, an FIR was lodged against the duo yesterday for cheating, police said, adding investigation into the case is underway.
