The Head priest of Takht (temporal seat) Sri Keshgarh Sahib Giani Tarlochan Singh died at his residence here following a massive heart attack, his family said today.
Singh (60) is survived by his wife, a son and three daughters.
He assumed charge as the head of Keshgarh Sahib, one of the five temporal seats of Sikhs, in February 2003.

Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal expressed deep sorrow over the Jathedar's demise.
He reached Sri Anandpur Sahib and visited Diwan Hall of Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib today where the body of Jathedar Tarlochan Singh was kept for the people to pay their last respects, a government spokesman said.
Sharing his condolences with the Jathedar's family members, Badal recalled the services of Giani Tarlochan Singh for the Sikh Panth's well being and described him as a great Sikh scholar.
Terming Singh's death as a personal loss to him, Badal said he often consulted the Jathedar on religious matters.
Meanwhile, general secretary SGPC Sukhdev Singh Bhaur announced that cremation of Giani Tarlochan Singh would be held tomorrow at Sri Anandpur Sahib and Antim Ardas would be held at Diwan Hall of Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib on August 10.
