The Met department today forecast isolated heavy to very heavy rain in districts of south Bengal till tomorrow noon triggered by a low pressure.
"Heavy rain will occur in south Bengal districts with very heavy rain in a few places till tomorrow noon owing to a low pressure in South Bengal-Bangladesh border," regional Met director G C Debnath said.
He said that the intensity of rainfall would decrease from tomorrow afternoon in south Bengal.

Kolkata received 21.7 mm rainfall from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm today, Met department sources said.
Other places which received significant rainfall during the same period were Basirhat (42 mm), Canning (31 mm), Dumdum (26 mm) and Barackpore(21 mm). All these places are in North 24 Parganas district.
The weatherman has also forecast moderate to heavy rain in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal in the next two days.
