The Mizoram Excise and Narcotics department Wednesday seized 290 gram of heroin at Tuirial village near Aizawl and arrested two persons, officials said.
The contraband worth around Rs 10 lakh was seized from two persons who were arrested for alleged possession of the drugs.
The two accused persons were booked under relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 and produced before the special judge (ND and PS Act) who remanded them to judicial custody.
