History-sheeter arrested on drug trafficking charges

A wanted criminal has been arrested with 11 kg of drugs in Vijaynagar area here, police said today.

Neeraj Langda, who has several cases registered against him including under the NDPS Act, was nabbed during routine check-up last night, police said.

He was riding a motorcycle that belonged to a policeman posted at Nawabganj police station, they said.

The arrested is being questioned to ascertain as to how he got hold of a vehicle belonging to a cop, they said.
