Hooda orders girdawari

Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today ordered special girdawari (revenue assessment)of Rabi crops for assessment of damage due to hailstorms in districts Mahindragarh, Rohtak and Sonipat.

Deputy Commissioners of these districts have been directed to get a special girdawari conducted of the hailstorm affected areas and send their reports to government through Divisional Commissioners for further action, an official spokesman said here today.

He said they have been asked to immediately send the report so that affected farmers could be compensated.
