Delhiites experienced a hot and humid day today with the maximum temperature rising two degrees above normal and rains evading the city.
The maximum temperature was recorded at 35.6 degree Celsius, while the minimum was a notch below the average at 24.5 degree Celsius, Met department said.
The humidity level oscillated between 44 and 87 per cent.

The city, which yesterday received scattered rains in Palam, Lodhi Road, Najafgarh, Pusa and Delhi University areas, witnessed a dry day.
No rains were recorded in the national capital last week, marking a dry spell.
The weatherman has predicted a partly cloudy sky tomorrow with possibility of light rains or thundershowers in some areas.
The maximum and minimum is likely to remain at 35 and 25 degree Celsius respectively.
