Himachal Youth Congress today criticised the Centre's Land Acquisition Ordinance terming it as anti-farmer and pro capitalist.
The new ordinance has allegedly diluted the major provisions of the Land Acquisition Act passed by the previous UPA government, the state Youth Congress chief Virkamaditya said.
The Ordinance would only benefit big industrialists like Ambani and Adani and the plight of the farmers would worsen, the son of chief minister Virbhadra Singh said.
Urging the Centre to immediately withdraw the ordinance, he said that Youth Congress would launch an agitation against the Ordinance throughout the state.
