'Hunger Games' star joins Marvel's 'Luke Cage' as villian

"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay" actor Mahershala Ali will be the villian in "Marvel's Luke Cage."

The 41-year-old, "House of Cards" actor is set to play Cornell "Cottonmouth" known for his super strength and sharp teeth, reported Entertainment Weekly.

Cottonmouth is not the only villian whom Cage has to face when the Netflix series debuts in 2016.

Theo Rossi was recently cast as Shades, while Alfre Woodward will also have a major negative role.

Marvel's "Jessica Jones," actor Mike Colter will play the lead character id Luke Cage.
