Husband, father-in-law booked for dowry, sexual harassment

A 23-year-old woman today accused her husband, father-in-law and a relative of assaulting her for dowry and harassing sexually.

A case of dowry harassment and causing miscarriage was against victim's husband Jai Deep Yadav. Her father-in-law, Hemant Singh, and a relative, Ajay Yadav, has been booked for assaulting her sexually, police said.

The victim, in her complaint, at Kosli women police station, alleged that her husband recently forced her consume a pill, leading to miscarriage.

The woman, who got married in 2013, further alleged that her father-in-law as well as Ajay Yadav used to frequently molest her.

The matter was under investigation, police said.
