A man was allegedly shot dead by unidentified people during a wedding ceremony at Powri village in the district, police said today.
The victim identified as Mulayam Singh Yadav, the husband of village head Kamaliya Devi, was shot at last night while he was attending a marriage ceremony in the village, they said.
He was admitted to a hospital in Agra in critical condition where he died during treatment, police said.

It seems that Yadav was killed over an old dispute. The deceased's family has alleged that panchayat member Gokul Yadav was behind the murder, police said.
The body has been sent for post-mortem.
