I-T Department conducts surveys in premises of bullion trader

The Income Tax Department today carried out surveys on nearly half a dozen premises of a bullion trader here, official sources said.

The survey was launched yesterday which continued on the second day today, they said.

The action was taken after complaints of tax evasion and conversion of black money, they said, adding no disclosure of seizure has been made so far.
