IED blast at Manipur's Moreh town

An improvised explosive device today exploded at the border town of Moreh in Manipur's Chandel district bordering Myanmar, a police officer said.

The police said that the blast took place between Sunrise Ground and Border Pillar No 78 near the Indo-Myanmar border and half a KM from Moreh police station at around 11 AM.

No casualty or damage to property was reported and no organisation claimed responsibility till this report was filed, the police said.
