IED recovered in Jharkhand

A powerful IED was

today recovered in Bokaro district during search operation by the security personnel, police said here.

Twenty-kg explosive was discovered by the security personnel at Tiskopi-Chatrochati forest under Gomia police station in the district, SP Jitendra Kumar Singh said.

Maoist-affected Bokaro's Gomia area is under Giridih Lok Sabha constituency, which goes into polls on April 17.
