Swedish furniture giant IKEA may soon invest in Mizoram by utilising the potential of bamboo plants in the state, an official statement today said.
The initiative for investment by IKEA was taken by the state's Chief Minister Lal Thanhawla, it said.
The company would organise a workshop in Aizawl on Thursday and the mode of partnership with local entrepreneurs would be discussed there, it added.
