Illegal liquor recovered in Faridabad

One man was arrested as large quantity of illegal liqour was recovered during a raid at a house here, police said today.

In a raid carried out yesterday, police recovered 171 bottles and 189 quarters of English wine, 215 quarters and 32 cans of country-made liquor, 114 boxes of beer, police said.

One Nitin was arrested in connection with the case, they said.

A case has been registered under Sections 61, 1 and 14 of Excise Act with NIT Faridabad police station today.
