Indiabulls Asset Management appoints Maheshwari as CEO of AIF

Indiabulls Asset Management today said it has appointed Ambar Maheshwari as the chief executive of Alternate Investment Funds (AIF).

Under Maheshwari, the AIF team will focus on strategies in real investment space, a release here said.

Prior to joining the firm, Maheshwari, with over 19 years of experience in corporate finance and consulting across a wide range of industries, has worked with property consultant Jones Lang LaSalle and was responsible for the overall establishment, direction and growth of the business.

CIAL releases its new logo and brand identity * Cochin International Airport Ltd. (CIAL) today released its new logo and brand identity - Navaswagatham.
 

The identity indicates a parallel with Kochi and Kerala, suggesting the importance of integrating nature, culture and community for both the organisation as well as the places.

The launch event titled "A Green Swagatham" was held amidst great fanfare with state fisheries minister K Babu unveiling the logo. The 3D version of the logo was then handed over by the minister to CIAL Managing Director V J Kurian.

Whirlpool opens built-in appliances showroom in Rajasthan * Consumer durables major Whirlpool today opened its first built-in appliances showroom in Jaipur in Rajasthan as an experience centre for its products.

This is the first built-in store in India by Whirlpool, the company said in a statement.

Whirlpool of India Vice President - New Business & Consumer Interface Rajiv Kapur said: "With Whirlpool range of built-in kitchen appliances available in India and its growing demand, it was imperative for us to have a stand-alone store where the homemakers can come and have an experience of the whole range in its full glory and functional form."

CromaRetail.Com ties up with data analytics firm * Tata group firm, CromaRetail.Com, today said it has tied up with data analytics firm Infinite Analytics, Inc (IA) to provide personalised recommendations to its online users.

The platform has allowed consumers to discover related and new products serendipitously, based on an understanding of the user, the product catalogue and the contextual data, the company said in a statement.
