Indian man jailed for 3 months in Dubai for molesting minor

A 54-year-old Indian in the UAE has been sentenced to three months in jail for molesting a minor Indian girl here, according to a media report.

A court yesterday found the man, identified only as M A, guilty of dragging his neighbour's eight-year-old daughter to an empty corridor of their apartment block and molesting her.

M A was drunk when he saw the girl playing with her friends in the corridor.

The incident came to light when the girl narrated the incident to her father.

The convict will be deported after his jail term is over.
