Indonesian artistes perform Ramlila in Lucknow

A group of Indonesian artistes enthralled Lucknowites by reenacting scenes of the Ramayana at a special Ramlila performance here.

The 50-minute-long performance was given by members of Indonesia's Viraagaa Sandhi group last night.

The artistes reenacted various scenes from the Ramayana, such as Sita Haran, Ravan-Jatayu tussle, search of Sita by Hanuman and Ram-Ravan war.

They will perform in Ayodhya on September 15 at Swami Vivekanand auditorium of Avadh University.
