Meanwhile, groundnut oil and linseed oil maintained its steady trend in the absence of any major buying activity.
In the non-edible segment, castorseeds bold climbed by Rs 35 per 100 kg to Rs 3,975 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 3,940 and castor oil commercial rose Rs 7 per 10 kg to Rs 825 from Rs 818. Linseed oil were unaltered at Rs 770 per 10 kg.
However, moving to edible section, refined palmolein eased by Rs 2 per 10 kg to Rs 478 from its previous close of Rs 480. While groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 1000 per 10 kg.
