Industrial oils rebound on renewed demand

Castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial prices recovered in an otherwise lacklustre Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today due to renewed demand from shippers and soap industries.

Meanwhile, groundnut oil, refined palmolein and linseed oil maintained a steady trend in the absence of any largescale buying activity.

In the non-edible section, castorseed bold climbed by Rs 25 per 100 kg to Rs 3,700 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 3,675 and castor oil commercial moved up by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 770 as against Rs 760 previously.

Linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 760 per 10 kg.
 

In the edible segment, groundnut and refined palmolein closed unaltered at Rs 950 per 10 kg and Rs 495 per 10 kg, respectively.
