Castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial recouped at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today following fresh demand from shippers and soap industries.
However, refined palmolein also recovered smartly owing to renewed offtake from retailers.
While, groundnut oil and Linseed oil held steady in absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
Moving to non-edible section, castorseeds bold rose by Rs 20 per 100 kg to Rs 3,650 from Tuesday's level of Rs 3,630 and castor oil commercial moved up by Rs 4 per 10 kg to Rs 760 compared to Rs 756 previously. Linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 1,150 per 10kg.
In the edible segment, refined palmolein moved up by Rs 5 per 10 kg Rs 540 as against Rs 535 yesterday and groundnut oil closed unaltered at Rs 1,360 per 10 kg.
