Inquiry into the death of undertrial prisoner

An undertrial, who was arrested under dowry act, died in hospital due to illness here today.

The undertrial identified as Sonu, was rushed to hospital where he was declared dead, district jail, Jailor Mizazilal, said.

A judicial inquiry has been ordered into his death, the Jailor said, adding the body has been sent for postmortem.
